Eighteen-year-old David Griffin has lived in 21 foster homes since birth. Intelligent, unpredicatable and self-destructive, he feels suffocated by a system that won’t let him be independent. He goes AWOL, steals, lives on the street and is arrested and incarcerated. Charges are dropped and his case is closed.
