Virtual Group: KINnect Relative Caregivers of Children

Please continue to join us for this opportunity to connect with other relative caregivers who are the primary caregivers of their grandchildren, nieces, and nephews as a way to share the joys and challenges of being a relative caregiver. Our meetings will continue to be held virtually on the 4th Thursday of every month from 11 am-12 pm. Join us!

Here are the monthly topics:

• September 28: Pattie Lomas from the CJ Lomas Recovery Foundation will be our speaker on the topics of prevention, education, and family support when your family member is experiencing addiction. Patti has been advocating for prevention, education, and family support in regard to the disease of addiction for the past 8 years. Patti lost her son CJ in 2012 due to a heroin addiction. She is the Co-founder of the CJ Lomas Recovery Foundation located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting individuals in their recovery programs as well as providing support for friends and families touched by addiction. Patti Lomas will be joining our call to listen to your experiences and offer support, resources, and information regarding the frustration of addiction.
