Transracial Foster Care & Adoption Live Workshop: History & Hope
September 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm$20
In this engaging and informative workshop, Isaac Etter will walk us through a history of transracial foster care and adoption, as well as his own journey as a transracial adoptee. Join us as Isaac powerfully shares his experiences and insights, and offers practical suggestions for:
- helping our children/youth connect to their culture
- supporting them as they develop their identity
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the challenges facing transracially fostered and adopted youth, as well as strategies for supporting them in a hopeful future.
Optional: Join us for pizza and conversation following the workshop, from 12pm-1pm.
