Styles4Kidz Hair Care Class & Resource Fair

OneHope27 will be hosting a resource fair with a Styles4Kidz hair care class to follow on April 1st at First Congregational Church in Tosa!

This event will start at 9 am with a resource fair. There will be local businesses, therapists, schools, nonprofits, hairstylists, and other personnel with resources for parents. This will be a great one-stop shop to make connections and learn about helpful and available resources for you and your kids!

At 10:30, Tameika, the founder of Styles4Kidz, will begin the hair care class, which will include an overview of basic hair care, types, textures, skincare, protective styles, and product recommendations. An introduction to and demonstration of individual braiding and a time for questions and answers will also be included. Every person in attendance will receive Styles4Kidz resources, access to the Family Community Facebook page, a monthly online training video subscription, and a hair care kit full of products!

Coffee and light refreshments will be available in the morning, and a lunch to follow, as well as an opportunity to connect with many other foster and adoptive parents! We can’t wait to see you there!

The class is limited to 100 people. This event is primarily for adults. Children over the age of 10 are allowed, but they need to be able to sit and listen during class. You will also need to purchase a separate ticket for each child you bring.
