Live Webinar: All Behavior That Is Not Loving and Respectful Is a Cry for Help. I’ll Love You and Work On Me: A Parent’s Guide to Managing Behavior
June 29 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm$20
At some point, being a parent to a child who has experienced trauma will result in one’s own emotional issues or past trauma becoming activated. This results in reactive behaviors on the part of the parent that are unhealthy, dysfunctional and activating for the child. A cycle of upset ensues that can become re-traumatizing for all involved. There are a few simple practices that can assist you in creating and
maintaining peaceful relationships in your family. It starts with personal awareness and healing and extends to modeling for the children how to get their needs met without misbehavior. Parents will have an opportunity to ask questions to further explore the information so they can apply it in their families.
