KINnect Cyanotype Workshop: Madison
September 19 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pmFree
Connect with other relative caregivers providing primary care to relative children. Registration is required for this event-
Relative Caregiver Families (adults providing primary care to relative children, including those who have adopted relative children as well as those who have guardianship of relative children) please join us at Bare Knuckle Arts to make something beautiful! We are renting out the whole studio for our group.
We will be making cyanotype bags. Traditional cyanotype was an antique photographic process distinctive for producing Prussian Blue monochromatic prints. In this workshop, we will create Prussian Blue-colored photograms on fabric. It’s super simple- all you need are things from nature or shapes you want to arrange and print. We will place objects or a contact negative over treated fabric and expose to sunlight. Each participant will leave with a beautiful bag of your own design. Great for all ages of kids, teens, adults! Guidance and instruction provided — No artistic ability or experience necessary!
Bonus: You don’t need to worry about dinner! We will be providing dinner from Noodles and Co.
Each family will also receive a goody bag to take home!
Please note: This event is for Relative Caregiver Families only. Each ticket is good for one adult and one child. If you have any questions or if the event is full and you would like to be added to the waitlist, please contact Jessica@wisapsp.org.
