Strategies for Building Stronger Relationships with Your Teen Webinar, Thursday, June 27

Ever notice how your teen can talk to friends for hours, but can barely manage a syllable when you ask how her day was? It’s easy to think your teen no longer needs you, but nothing can be further from the truth. Parental support, guidance, comfort, and reassurance is more important than ever during the adolescent years, especially for teens who are adopted or in foster care. This webinar will offer insights and strategies for:

  • Understanding the relationship between brain development & attachment
  • Knowing what’s “normal” vs. trauma- related behavior
  • When to discipline and when to reassure
  • How to navigate emotions (for both YOU and your teen)
  • How to avoid the pitfalls that hurt more than help
