Black Hair Care 101–October 6, 2018

With all the challenges that come with fostering or adopting, hair care may not be high on your list of priorities. But it should be. This in-person workshop cover black hair care basics as well as the historical, cultural, social, and emotional importance of black hair care. There will be opportunities for hands on practice as well.

The Trainer: Ericka Copeland-Malone holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Education from the University of Phoenix. She is a certified teacher, grades 1-8, through the Department of Public instruction in Wisconsin. She is also a licensed foster/adoptive parent.
